The 21st Annual Visalia Race Against Hunger (commonly known as the Visalia Turkey Trot) is a beloved Thanksgiving morning tradition on Thursday, November 27, 2025, attracting over 6,000 participants to downtown Visalia for the Central Valley’s largest timed 5K run/walk. This family-friendly event offers options like a 5K run, 2-mile walk, kids’ races, and virtual participation, starting in the heart of downtown (near Garden Street Plaza on Main Street), with festive costumes, community spirit, and routes through scenic areas. Hosted by the Visalia Emergency Aid Council, 100% of proceeds directly support local food pantry programs to ensure no child in Tulare County goes hungry.
